Not sure if the Democratic Party is stupid or just arrogant… maybe both!

by O Society Dec 5, 2018

You would think, somewhere in their heart of hearts, down deep in their subconscious minds, amongst the dreams of hoarding money and spreading diversity, these so-called New Democrats would be capable of learning something new.

Changing. Adapting. Evolving.

Yet Democratic party leader Nancy Pelosi said, “I don’t think people want a new direction. We’re not going to change our direction. We’re going to change the marketing of our old direction. Something something message something connects.”

You would think, after rigging your primary election to nominate a presidential candidate – Hillary Clinton – who then proceeded to lose to the worst presidential candidate in the history of historical events

– ahem, cough cough, Agent Orange –

there would be some soul searching. Because more people voted for Nobody than voted for Hillary or Trump.

If Nobody had Run For President, He’d Have Won!

There’s more than enough info in ^ there ^ to fix the Democratic party. So I’ll keep this concise and on point. They don’t want to fix anything because money something something marketing.

Speaking of which… remember this?

“And that’s why I can say with confidence there has never been a man or a woman—not me, not Bill, nobody—more qualified than Hillary Clinton to serve as president of the United States of America.”

~ Barack Obama

^ That ^ was Hillary Clinton’s campaign slogan. Actually, “At least I’m not Trump!” was her unofficial slogan, because she didn’t have an official one.

Trump. MAGA. Hillary? Ummm…………

“I would have had a reason for running,” one of her top aides said, “or I wouldn’t have run.”

So we’ll go with what Obama said: “Hillary Clinton is the most qualified person to ever run for president.”

And how did that work out? Being qualified. More qualified than anyone ever.

Hillary lost. To a man who is not qualified to complete a sentence.

Let that sink in. What is the take home message?

People are tired of the status quo. The Inside the Beltline crowd. The elite. The establishment. The politically correct virtue signalers.

Americans Wanted a Revolution, and Clinton’s Campaign Only Offered Them Obama 2.0

Americans voted for Trump precisely because he was unqualified. He’s a brick through the plate glass limousine window. This isn’t rocket surgery.

So you would think the Democratic party would have learned this by now. If nothing else, at least catch on to the big orange brick through the picture window.

Then I looked in the newsfeed and what did I see?

“I’ll be as straight with you as I can. I think I’m the most qualified person in the country to be president,” Biden said to applause at the University of Montana.

Joe Biden

You would think.

Biden is who Democratic voters prefer 33%

  1. We often talk about the Dunning-Kruger effect in the context of Donald Trump and his true believers. The combination of narcissism and ignorance leaves such folks incapable of realizing how incompetent they are.

Thing is, the Democratic party has it too. We all have it, in fact, in differing proportions in different situations. But make no mistake, it is a human trait rather than a “liberal” or “conservative” problem.

My take is the Democratic party leadership especially seems to consider themselves virtuous beyond reproach, due to their word policing and political correctness. I say, “Bullshit.”

In addition, if the DNC can’t see America wants change and is sick of these neoliberal policies, then their “leaders” are incompetent. If they run re-run candidates – such as Hillary Clinton or Joe Biden – then they deserve to lose. Even to Trump.

The Republican party does not have a monopoly on arrogance or stupidity. Stupid is as stupid does.
